The iconic Johnny Carson Malibu property has come on the Malibu Real Estate Market for an eye popping $ 81,500,000.  The exclusive estate located on the Bluffs of Point Dume in Malibu has some of Malibu’s best views.   Overlooking a private surf drenched beach the property has almost 10,000 square feet of living space between the 2 bedroom main house, tennis pavilion, and guest house.   Other features include Pool, championship Tennis court, koi pond, Waterfall, gym, locker room and a rumored tunnel under the street that connects the more than 4 acre 4 parcel property.   The deceased late night show host purchased the property in 1984 and lived there until his death in 2005.  Johnny Carson was an avid sportsman playing and hosting tennis matches and was known to practice his golf game by hitting golf balls from his bluff top estate into the ocean below.  The property was sold after his death to Sidney and Caroline Kimmel in 2007 for $27,000,000.  Kimmel is the founder of Jones Apparel Group and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment which is responsible for several films including “the Kite Runner”, “Moneyball”, and “Hell or High Water”.

The property was designed by world renowned Malibu architect Ed Niles and is an Iconic modern estate with walls of angular glass and light filled rooms.  The entire second floor of the main house is the sprawling master bedroom with his and hers bathrooms, walk in wardrobes, and two private offices.   The nearby Point Dume Malibu neighbors include other celebrity A-listers like Julia Roberts, Kenny G, Matthew McConaughey,  James Perse, Barbara Streisand, Pink, and many more.
